COURSE DETAILS

  • Awarding Body: Arden University

  • Study Mode: Online / Blended Learning (UK Campuses)

  • Duration: 3 Years (Full-time) or up to 6 years (Part-time)

  • Level: Undergraduate (Level 4, 5, and 6)

  • Core Modules: * Level 4: Introduction to Programming, Web Authoring, and Computer Systems & Security.

    • Level 5: Human-Computer Interaction, Data Analytics, and Systems Analysis & Design.

    • Level 6: Data Mining, Distributed & Cloud Computing, and a final Computing Project.

  • Career Pathways: Software Engineer, Web Developer, IT Consultant, Systems Analyst, and Data Scientist.

To be eligible for the BSc (Hons) Computing program, applicants should typically meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Entry: Minimum of two subjects at GCE A-Level (or equivalent), plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level (including Mathematics).

  • Alternative Route: Completion of a recognized Access to Higher Education programme or equivalent.

  • Work Experience: Applicants with significant professional experience (usually 12+ months) who do not meet standard academic requirements may be considered via a CV and reference review.

  • English Language Proficiency: IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any individual component) or an equivalent recognized English language qualification.

  • Personal Statement: A brief statement outlining your motivation and suitability for the course is required.
